I so enjoyed recording Girl To City, my first memoir, as a podcast and so I’m giving it another go with the second memoir. I know how the book ends but let’s see how this thing unfolds!
I loved your writing, but just listening to this segment makes me enjoy it even more. BTW, if you haven't listened to Rickie Lee Jones' memoir, you really should. She reads through her own story like a drunken goose: hiccuping, side-stepping, chuckling at herself, almost snorting with laughter at her own punchlines. Seriously, she should have won the Grammy for Best Audiobook Narration or whatever their prize is.
