Thank you so much Suzanne! I had to look closely to remember what I used - I sketched in charcoal, did some watercolor wash and then used white gouache for the little highlights/that painterly look. I was happy with it, so glad you like it!

Not Italian, but I, too, love wine too much to say goodbye (age be damned). Cheers to bucking conventional wisdom + relishing living!

YAY for drawing! Love it! And the guitar guilt... Thank you for writing, though. It’s such a comfort for all of us to know we are not alone when we listen to your songs or read your book(s). We even get to chuckle (sometimes out loud) about our shortcomings.

habits!! good habits!! yes!

i don't work for the company, ha ha, but you should look into some Ice-Breakers shoe extensions! they retro-fit right over your running shoes, and will shock you at how much confidence you'll have over ice and even frozen puddles and ponds! for less than two gym visits - yer exercising outside! also, i dig the Drums - with OLD ludwig logo, yes!! xxxcm

I NEED to get those or Yak tracks that slip over the soles of the shoes, thank you Clarke! But I'm still looking forward to going back to the gym, it's no substitute for being outdoors but ...well I've been twice already and thinking of going back tomorrow if it's raining. Glad you noticed that old logo, loved that on my source material (we don't have anything so cool here, drum-wise)

“I’ll be sixty-five this week.” Happy birthday, a cuppla days early. (I'm sure I'll find myself on the Rec Center walking track, treadmill and stationary cycle again, Real Soon Now.)

Thanks Hal. You must need those old friends with the Minnesota winter. They'll wait for you.

Thank you Amy! I always envied those sports kids, they seemed so confident. Take care and stay warm.
