Hah hah, the first time GPS sent me over the Verrazano when I was trying to head upstate I went “wha?” But it all worked out, as will your move to England. It was great seeing you at my nabe fave Barbes, and as you told me there, we will see you soon!

Yes, it added miles but skirted the city traffic.

Hope I can play in Hudson or Catskill before we leave but also making plans to play in the fall when the album comes out. You and Ellen won't even know we've left Steven!

Another just beautiful rendering of the process of being alive as a human being, doing what you do, on this crazy, colorful planet. Thank you Amy. You mean so much to so many, including me.

Love reading about your life, music your adventures! Good luck with your move. I remember when you did a solo show at The Rio in Santa Cruz. Great show! You broke a string and changed it in a nano-second while still talking with the audience. My friend and I were speechless and

Couldn’t stop remarking about how you did that so fast! It was impressive. So was your show!

Thank you so much Sharon! Sometimes those Santa Cruz gigs feel like a long-ago dream, it's so nice you remember one. I used to break many strings on that old Guild guitar...

Take care and thanks for reading.

I envy you. I feel at home in England too. On the 1st day of my second trip there in '04, I found myself literally jumping for joy in the Queen's backyard (Great Windsor Park). 20 years ago??

And yes...great song... "People all over the world, join in. Join the love train."

I don’t know how I stumbled here but I love this essay. It all feels so familiar to me, but I am far away from it now. Maybe only playing for people once a year and good with that. This was pure and bittersweet and wonderful.
