You could combine that London radio show's name with the Marx Brothers: The Hello I Must Be Going Goodbye show. Isn't that ridiculous? That's what I've got this morning. Always wonderful to read your stuff and to keep up with what you're doing.

That there London is a big place and I can't say I'm keen on it, but it has to be done. It sounds as though you're better at navigating it than me.

Enjoy your trip home, looking forward to Bristol!

Hi Amy, I visited England once. In 1989, I did a bicycle tour with a group that was based in New York City. I bought a 3 speed Raleigh to do a 250 mile ride in 8 days from Woodstock to Bath. Half way across we took the tour's Transit van to Stratford to see Hamlet at the Royal Shakespeare.. After that I loaded the bike and my overnight bag on the bike to my next destination, Salisbury where I secured a room for the night. Rode the bike to Stonehenge. Next day, off to Surrey to see a friend in West Horseley. Lastly to the outskirts of London. B&B in Uxbridge. Bus and train to London. Did the open-top tour thing then looked for the Astoria theater. A friend's band was there. Saraya. I've known their singer/front person, Sandy since 1980. She married a movie actor, Brendan Kelly in the 1990s , I think. 5 kids!! ......After that, next day, home. I like your writing here. I wish I could go back to Blighty again. Had a great time there. Have as much fun as possible!

I hope to see you next time I'm able. I'm going to Outpost in a few weeks to see Robyn Hitchcock. I think he lives in Nashville.
